Madeline's First Trip to Apple Hill: November 12, 2011

Madeline experienced her first pony ride, picked her first apple off a tree and enjoyed a large bowl of ice cream and fresh apple pie all in a fall day on the farms of Apple Hill Growers in Placerville, CA.

Madeline's 2nd Birthday at the Nevada Discovery Museum: November 5, 2011

Madeline had a wonderful birthday party with her family and a couple of her little friends (Ella, Landon and Carter) at the Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum. The kids started off the festivities in the party room making polymer key chains. They used markers to color their plastic sheets and then took them to the toaster oven to watch them shrink.












After their activity they spent some time out in the museum running around. Madeline's favorite spots are the camping room and water play area.









We had sandwiches and chips for lunch followed by cupcakes. Madeline really liked it when everyone sang the Happy Birthday song to her! She even tried to blow out her candle!
























She enjoyed opening her gifts and of course got some help from her friends.






After food, dessert and presents there was still time for more fun.
