Tucson Trip: April 2013

Madeline and I took our first girl trip out to Tucson. We had so much fun! We visited friends, Marla and her kiddos (Lily and Eli), Jill and Kasia. The first day we went back to the old stomping ground at Reflections in the Catalinas and De Grazia Gallery in the Sun. Day two we visited all the animals at the desert museum. Our last full day we went to the butterfly garden and the water park.

Easter 2013

 Madeline received an easel and paints for Easter. I know it was going overboard. Whatever happened to just a small Easter basket, right? Well it was an excuse to get her one, and I've been wanting to get her one for a while. When Madeline saw it though she said, "Mommy, I don't think a bunny could bring this. So I'm going to pretend it is from Santa." Can you believe this smart kid?

 We went out to Truckee to Landon's Nina's house for an Easter potluck brunch. The food was delicious! Madeline and Landon searched for Easter Eggs. They were the only kids. So there wasn't much competition. Madeline got to check out Landon's tractor too. Her jerky driving was hilarious. She needs a bit more practice.
