Cali's Home Preschool
Madeline and Landon have so much fun together on their preschool days. Cali and I designed a preschool schedule to do with the kids one day a week. So far our themes have included the farm, the forest, and this week we've moved on to the ocean. They learn about the associated animals and their homes. We also pick a letter, number, shape and color to focus on for a few weeks at a time. The kids are picking it up quickly. They know the names of many colors although they still get them mixed up, and they've learned circle, star and triangle. Maddie can now count to five, and she tries her best to sing the alphabet song. So far we have "ABC" down. It is amazing to watch them grow!

Family and Friends: June 2011
June was a busy month. Madeline and Landon did a summer swim session at the community pool. Madeline was not afraid of the water at all. She went under water, blew bubbles, learned to kick and use big arms, and from sitting on the edge of the pool she would jump in to us. Mimi (Jan) came out to visit. So Maddie got Mimi time, and Mimi got to see Maddie in action at the pool.
Mid month, our good friends from Tucson came out with their 11 month old baby girl to visit us and vacation by the lake. We spent a nice day at King's Beach in Tahoe and Galena State Park in Reno.

A major highlight at the end of the month was our trip to Bakersfield for Nana's 80th birthday and our first visit out to meet, Logan, the newest little Freeman bundle. Jackson and I went out for a nice lunch with Nana to celebrate an early birthday. She says she likes to celebrate the whole month. We stayed with Baba and Grandma. We got to swim and had a nice barbque with Great Auntie and Uncle and Matthew. Our last day in Bako we visited with Papa, Gramma, Auntie and Uncle and all the cousins. Ty loved carrying Maddie around!
Little Logan was just under a month when we got to meet him. He is the most adorable, sweet little baby! He is used to the noise and constant prodding from his two older brothers and is very good natured! Madeline liked checking out a "real baby," but she seemed a little uncertain of what to think about him! She did want to make sure he constantly had his pacifier in his mouth just like her baby dolls.
