Carson City Children's Museum: February 10, 2012
We continue to get great use of our reciprocal membership at the many children's museums across the US! Grandma, Madeline and I had the Carson Children's Museum to ourselves for almost two hours!
Pump It Up: February 8, 2012
Landon turned two today! We celebrated his day at an open jump session at Pump It Up bounce place. Landon and Madeline did some sliding, jumping, running and climbing on the various bounce houses and obstacle courses. Grandma drove up from Bakersfield for the weekend and arrived in time to experience the last half hour of fun.
Potty time: January 16, 2012
We started potty training again! This time it was much easier. With lots of animal cracker, sticker and stamp bribes, Madeline only took about one month to be out of diapers except at sleep time and in the car. She has occasional accidents, but for the most part will tell mommy and daddy when "pee pee coming." She was definitely ready and so were we to take on the potty challenge! The diaper stage will not be missed!

Jackson turns 30! January 14, 2012
Jackson turned 30 today! Mimi and Gimpa Ron came into town to celebrate the occasion. In the morning, we had a delicious family breakfast at Pegs Glorified Ham and Eggs. Afterwards, Jackson opened his presents. His gift from Madeline and me was a deluxe much coveted (in the Ham world) yaesu FT-950 100 watt radio and HF tranceiver. That night, we had a great dinner with friends, and then Jackson got a surprise. I rented out Jump Man Jump bounce warehouse for an hour so we could all act like kids again. There was some serious competition between the women and men on the obstacle course and some brutal male combat in the jousting ring. We ended the night after playing pool and listening to people sing karaoke at Sparkey's Bar.
