Virginia Truckee Railroads Christmas Tree Train: December 2013

 The Virginia Truckee Train leaves the Virginia City depot and travels about a mile through the hills of Virginia City and Gold Hill past old mines. Every year they decorate the train for Christmas for young passengers and fill their stomachs with hot chocolate and cookies while singing Christmas carols. It was great fun, and we were accompanied this year by our friends the Holmans.
