When Madeline gets to the Truckee museum the first thing she does is run to the dress up area to pick out her turtle costume. A year ago it was hanging off of her, and now it is getting a little tight. I'm not sure what we will do when it doesn't fit her anymore! One of Madeline's favorite places to play is in the baby area, which is really designed for children under 18 months. There are various soft shapes with pictures on them. This time we got a picture of her stacking them on her head like in the book "Caps for Sale."
After play time, everyone gathered in the snack room to sing to Landon. Madeline was able to sing the whole happy birthday song, but she was a little upset that it was not to "dear Landon AND Maddie."
Things were pretty quiet around the table when the kids dug into their cupcakes. The theme this year was dump trucks, and they were covered in oreo crumbs and gummy worms. Yum! What a fun day!
